Relationships aren’t supposed to be flawless. They’re meant to be alive — shifting, occasionally messy, sometimes confusing. But when communication slips, when the same argument loops for the tenth time, or when the closeness you once had now feels thin… it can be painful in a very particular, intimate way.
My work is to help you slow things down enough that you can actually hear each other again — with less defensiveness, more care, and a steadier sense of what’s really going on beneath the surface.
Common reasons couples come in:
Feeling disconnected or emotionally distant
Conversations that turn tense or circular
Feeling unheard or misunderstood
Differences in communication or neurodiversity
Changes in intimacy or desire
Major life transitions
Healing after a rupture or breach of trust
I bring a warm, curious, compassion-centered approach to couples work — a blend of evidence-based frameworks and genuine human presence. I’m not here to referee or assign blame. I’m here to help you understand the pattern you’re stuck in, why it’s so powerful, and what needs to shift for both of you to feel safer and more connected.
My approach is:
Emotionally focused and attachment-based
Compassion-driven
LGBTQ+ affirming
Neurodiversity-aware
Trauma-sensitive and identity-informed
This is work that honors both the emotional and the practical — the heart and the communication skills, the big feelings and the tiny moments where connection begins to repair.
This may be a good fit if:
You want help changing stuck patterns, not “winning” arguments
You’re open to slowing things down and being honest together
This may not be the right fit if:
You’re looking for coaching, advice-giving, or quick fixes
If you’re considering couples therapy, a brief consultation is a good place to begin.
I personally respond to consultation requests and aim to reply within 1–2 business days.
In couples therapy, you will:
Learn how to communicate without spiraling
Understand what’s happening underneath conflicts
Rebuild trust and a sense of emotional safety
Navigate differences (including neurodiverse dynamics) with more empathy
Strengthen intimacy — emotional, physical, and relational
Practice repair in a way that actually works for your relationship
Therapy becomes a place where you can experiment with new ways of being together — slower, kinder, more honest, more connected. Reach out with questions

Growth in relationships rarely comes from avoiding the difficult moments.
As Thich Nhat Hanh wrote, “No mud, no lotus.”
Working through what feels stuck can become the beginning of something more honest, connected, and alive.
Couples therapy can be a turning point — a chance to understand each other differently, with more ease, compassion, and steadiness. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
